The Learning Studio, 2017-2020
The Learning Studio was a photography program at Ypsilanti Community High School in Ypsilanti, Michigan, that used creativity as an outlet. Very real conversations, such as discussions about community perception to the murder of Botham Jean served as prompts and students created very personal and intentional imagery as responses. The program came to an end in 2020 due to the lockdowns of COVID-19. The photos included here are just a few of the thousands created by my students.
Student initials were used to indicate ownership.
