Classroom on Mars, 2025

Will humans colonize Mars?

If we were to, would we recreate everything as we know it on Earth? Would we consider our past mistakes?

Would we treat each other the same or could we start over? How long does it take to correct and remove generations of flawed knowledge?

What would the schools look like? Would we consider every student's experience when generating lesson plans?

Looking at what and how we have taught, the changes we are making, and our future direction, I now believe there is nowhere in the universe where we could create a safe and inclusive learning environment for students.

This work was created during the self-initiated and directed Disposition Residency. This residency has two rules: I can utilize anything in the warehouse before it sells, and all creations must occur in the warehouse or within a 500-foot radius outside of it. I am also allowed to bring in items that did not originate at the warehouse.
